Anne Heikkila

Artist Bio

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and a career move brought me to Georgia in 1985. My professional degrees are in Audiology and I enjoyed a career in the hearing sciences field. I began working in glass in the 1980’s and since then, I’ve explored all forms of glass art, including stained glass, flame working, fused glass and painted stained glass. I have a deep love for nature and I draw inspiration for my art from the beauty of the southern Appalachian forests to the wild coasts of California.
